When you enquire as an employer or register as a job seeker, we may collect:
- Contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number
- Business information, if enquiring as an employer
- Education and employment background, such as degree or field of study
- Your resume/CV, if uploaded
- Self-reported work rights information, provided voluntarily for initial matching purposes
- Website usage and referral information, such as campaign or source identifiers (e.g. UTM parameters) and cookies — see "Analytics, CRM and third-party service providers" below
- Any other information you choose to provide in an enquiry or registration form
How we use your information
- To provide recruitment, external HR, or career support services you have requested
- To communicate with you about your enquiry or registration
- To match candidates with employers, where relevant and with appropriate consent
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations
Disclosure of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose candidate information to prospective employers as part of the recruitment process, with your knowledge. We do not share information with Mercury Institute of Victoria or any other entity for marketing purposes.
Migration and visa matters
AusLabourBank is not a registered migration agency and does not provide immigration assistance. We do not collect information for the purpose of visa or migration advice. Any such matters are referred to MARA-registered migration agents or Australian legal practitioners.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.
Analytics, CRM and third-party service providers
We may use website analytics, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, form processing services and other third-party service providers to help operate our website and improve our services. These providers may use cookies and may process information on servers located outside Australia. This information is used to improve our website and services and is not used to identify individuals for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for recruitment, HR support, legal compliance or other legitimate business purposes, after which it will be securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
